Went to Brands this evening. Loads of elise's and 1 VX which happened to be Maxr. Good to see you again Max and your car is awsome in the flesh. Great little chase with that white Exige in the last session. Wish I had bought my bash hat

Was good to meet up with Siztenboots as well being the only other vx owner their.

Good to see you again Dave & Steve,
Thanks to Plans for getting me back on track again at the drop of a hat. I have now replaced my Front Pagid RS 15's with 14's and they are far easier to manage although had I of spent the time mastering using the 15's it may have been a better solution long term. My sudden loss of brake fluid turned out to be my braided hose detaching from the calliper (they had not seen that before, aren't I lucky!) They also noticed my vacuum hose from the brake servo virtually flat from heat making the pipe soft and which then collapsed under the force of the vacuum. Was this a recall?
Anyway, it was a lovely evening at Brands and after a slow cautious early session with my awful braking into Paddock (as well as other corners!) things slowly started to improve. I thought it was quite a technical circuit with several awkward corners.
I will post a clip later this week of my session chasing the white Exige S.
Cheers
Max

Yes it was a recall, whatever spec vacuum pipe Lotus used OE, to check for the recall fix you should see black with red stripe hose from the master cylinder.
