A short video clip from my first Brands Hatch Experience. I was following Danny in his Lotus Exige S. What a great way to learn the lines just by keeping on his tail.

Always like your vids Max. Still cant get used to the banshee wail. 58/57 sec laps. Looks like you could carry a bit more speed through Paddock, Druids and Mclaren and drift out to the exit points with a bit more full track width use on exit. Could be worth about - 1 sec. What do you think?

Some telemetry data, split times , 59 57 57 60 59 secs

We will have to find a better way to secure the cig lighter as I only got your out lap, and this sequence of laps.

Yes, there's plenty more to come. I was actually lapping quicker a few laps before I caught up with the Exige. It's difficult to drive quickly whilst following the correct line from the car in front. I was off the throttle & braking early to stop me getting too close. He was braking early on several corners too, but it really did help me get the correct(ish) lines around....next time maybe! Also I didn't get a chance to adjust my dampers which I wanted to & check the tyre pressures as there was no time during the sessions as my car & trailer had to be parked quite a distance away from the pits.

Cheers.

Yeah spot on. You can see the holding off by trailing. I would say a consistent 56 sec lap would be right on the numbers and achievable with no traffic. Nice work + nice vid.

Having experienced Max's driving I'd be surprised if he can't manage consistent 55's. Don't think following the exige taught you anything at all...

Only worth following if you were after a few pointers. To squeeze 55 sec laps out of the Indy in Max's VX would be going some. Such a short circuit.

So it's true what they say about the Exige S. The Supercharger does make it difficult to see behind you!!! :P
