you pikey :P no seriously apparently you cover them in clay and then bake them on a fire. all the spines come off and they make good eating allegdedly. I, of course could not condon a practice such as this as i think hedgehogs are brill.

 Didn't know he had a flatmate! He visits every night between 9 and 10, pretty friendly and doesn't mind being photographed close up! He usually eats Spikes Hedgehog food, except when I run out he eats Cat biscuits - as in the photo. I went out to feed him last night and there were 2 of them! Thinking of building them a breeding box next. Cheers, Nige

They'll be parking their caravans in your garden next, then offering to tarmac your drive. Poorly.

I almost didn't click on this thread, worried that you might have been showing a picture of your tyres. We've got one that lives under a pallet beside the garage. One morning before I left for work I heard the rustling of dry leaves under the pallet, then him scratching himself. Then he crawled towards the outside of the pallet, had a crap, scratched himself thoroughly again, and went back to bed. . Made me so, so, envious.. :(

Ha!

But they are cute though... when alive.

I always try to save them. If I see one crossing the road Ill stop and chuck'em over the hedge to safety. Although Ill only admit this on a forum where I dont know anybody (if my mates were to find out... )
