Hmmm, Metcheck says Sunny, Accuweather says "Mostly cloudy with a couple of showers.". As for tyres I've got A039s so don't care! :D

888s for me; great in the dry, good in the wet (as long as it's not really wet).

appreciated that drivers are different but a few friends of mine can lap that place in monsooon like rain on inters/slicks faster than similar capability drivers on "wet" road tyres lol. Its a very abrasive circuit in the dry (pax front will take a beasting) so a touch of damp would be nice to ease the pain on the tyres :D

Higher pressure will stop the tyre wear being so bad

Yeah Llandow will eat a set of tyres in the dry - i've done about 7 trackdays there in really wet conditions and it holds the car perfectly - however the last corner onto the finish straight does turn into a big puddle - but still, it's nothing to worry about because the grip levels are pretty good. If it's as warm as it is today it should be a cracker. chinky chinky I think peoples biggest concerns should be the iccle plastic bollards on the chacaine - it will leave a nasty mark on the clam if you get it wrong :P

I have 888's on my shed (MX-5). What are peoples thoughts on what pressures to inflate them to?? Thinking I may need to tape my indicator to indicate to the left all the way round Llandow but it'll be a fun day never-the-less!!! Wish I still had my VX :(

Thanks to Superchips' wonderful custom mapping skills, you'll probably still overtake me so don't tape them up too firm.

888's or 48's will be fine. Every trackday i've done this year - bar Silverstone - has been soaking wet and the 888's cope remarkably well, even @ Snetterton a couple of weeks back (which is relatively low grip) they were fine with persistent rain all day.

My rear tyres are now very trashed , very much a case of the track not allowing me to put down anywhere close to the 340 torque available. It probably did not help having 10psi too much for the first two sessions, apologies to your mate for the passenger laps, still 80mph going backwards was fun.
