Took the first steps on the tuning road today, ordered, cat replacement pipe, panel filter, iridium plugs. Next step AMD one click, anyone know when this will be ready?

:D
Courtenay Sport £279, expensive pipe, cheap bhp gain that's the way I see it. Once the one click is out then I should have 230 bhp. :D

The only answer I get back is 'soon'. Which means 'ages'. I'm pushing.

cheers John, just wanted if it's a couple of months away or if I should get a remap if it's going to be longer. One step at a Timbo, my philosophy, is make a change see what effect it has, then move to the next change. Plus if you push it too far then you need to sort out the charge cooling issues.

There are probably quite a few of us waiting for One Click before taking it to AmD. Me for one (and sounds like Colin too). In their interests to get it sorted sooner rather than later IMO. But then Thorney's probably made the point to them already...

AFAIK you can go and get your car chipped, live with the extra bhp, then when the one click is in operation you can have it changed FOC. Ian I've probably got it wrong.

I'm booked in for the Milltek and remap (Stage 2) on Monday 23rd. I'll ask about the one click option while I'm there.

I was down at AMD the other week and enquired about one-click. They told me that they were working on it and that I could upgrade when it became available for the vx. However it's not free. You will need to pay for the bit of kit you plug in which holds the 'unused map'. This will probably be 'a couple of hundred quid'. Sounds fair enough to me if you want to go back to standard at any time. ;)
