Hiya PB,
The Pug was entertaining and performed faultlessly, I can recommed Track Action as an organiser, open pit lanes rool
I had some free tuition from an ex Nurburgring 24hr driver Gareth Lloyd, he was reasonably pleased with my driving so after helping me get the most out of some of the trickier sections we mostly chatted, he liked the Pug though.
I have raced the Fosters circuit when I had my season in the Caterham academy but the full international is STUNNING.
I clocked over 120 miles on the International circuit and used a tank of Optimax. The track went from wet/slippy first thing to dry line/virtually dry by around 5pm.
Pictures of the day can be found on the offical photographers website http://www.lisagardnerphotography.com/ goto events online, track action 17/02, there are ten pages to browse, I am the White 205.
BTW I'm at Loton Park this season - SAT/SUN 22/23rd May 2004, be good to catch up.

Whats it like racing a FWD versus the crate and the VX james ? Do you just instinctively balance the throttle/steering to minimise understeer or has it taken presence of mind to change how you drive to exploit the pug ? I'd be interested to know as in my teeny trackday experience, I took my Integra around Brands and I could hardly cope with the understeer, and I had to back off and steer round the twists else I drifted wide every time. Do you do that funky 'lift off oversteer' thing to carry speed through the bends or wot ?
ps. I am a crap CRAP crap track driver and know nothing.
