Instead I got a lump of FGlass from Halfords, used a 50mm hose as a mould and a couple of hours later had this:
I used the chance to take off the worn rubber look stuff off the column and freshen it up. I'm very pleased with the result, its unobtrusive and best of all cheap

Looks very tidy . Is the gauge easy to see down there?
BTW - what are those switches on the centre 'brace' for?
Its quite a bright gauge so you are always aware of it and a glance picks out the numbers just fine. A needle type gauge may not work so well in the same position.
The switches are for the ABS and chargecooler.

This is how it looks....I obviously don't need to know what my boost is when turning hard left
Looks You're right you shouldn't be staring at gauges when cornering....other things to look at right!
Would look good with the mod to change the colour of the backlight for the main stack.

On track yesterday I only actually needed to look at it once all day when the power dropped due to a split intercooler hose.
One of these LCD multi function OBD gauges in the same location would be perfect.

Topicstarter sounds like a diy project.
Most here use the hurricane one.
