You are not that well off for tracks oop north. Oulton is best left for a while, Croft is not too bad, but not a 'beginner' circuit Elvington is not a circuit, has nothing to hit but will scrap your tyres.
Stock answer, Bedford.
Rockingham , on the inner circuit ( ie , same as vx national did in 2007 ) , thats the one without using the banking

I have seen that LOT are running a novice session at Rockingham on the inner circuit in Nov so may enquire.
If you do it, I hope the weather is friendlier than it was for the National, last November. It was absolutely freezing.
The infield National circuit is really good and suits VX's. Quite technical but very enjoyable once you get the hang of it. There were lots of "offs" at the National but don't think anyone incurred any real damage other than a nice collection of pea gravel in the undertrays and between the tyre and wheel rim from the gravel traps. It is a little tight for run-off on a couple of corners but you should be fine as long as you don't go nuts.

I've just signed up for this - so it would be good to see some other VXs there...I have seen that LOT are running a novice session at Rockingham on the inner circuit in Nov so may enquire.

Still 8 places left on the novice day (Sat 15th Nov).
