Its probably because its not worh the hassle of fitting one. The brackets on the spolier are miles off to fit the vx. (the spoiler is fitted to the sloping engine cover on the exige) And then you would have to find a way of fitting it so it wont get in the way when opening up to the boot. Would be a complete nightmare!!

It would be useless. It's too low to get any airflow and even it did then all it would do is load the calm up as there's no easy way to transfer the load to the sub frame* *that the best case, worst case is it would cause fatigue cracks in the clam/bootlid.

I have made up a wedge to put between the wing and the boot lid.
This is the positive mold for it
the wedge will be resin cast .

I will fit this at some point
I was going to use a a large bit of thick foam or poly to transfer the pressure through
the boot and onto the rear sub frame .

Basically I'm only doing this for a bit of a laugh

and to make my car even more Chavtastic when I go on track days .

I think this looks great and good luck with it. Make sure you keep the mould as i would love something like this on mine. That is something as i hate doing anything cosmetic to cars like the vx220 Sam

Does the steinmetz car not have a Exige s2 spoiler? although with different struts, just spotted it on the 'aftermarket lights' thread.

I used to quite like the front view of the steinmetz car, this pic has somewhat changed my mind.

Is that a front grill cut into the rear clam?? Edit to add - the grill at the rear is the least of worries. The whole car is just shocking.
