Mostly standard except for a couple of little bits:
Pre-cat removed (not needed for uk regs, MOTs, etc - just frees up a bit of power and mpg)
Team Dynamics multispoke black wheels - 17" rear, 16" front. These are the sizes Lotus fit to the Exige and enable you to run a slightly wider front tyre (195) as well as giving a much wider (and cheaper) choice of tyres, including trackday semi slicks if you wish.
Ported throttle body - Doesn't make a huge difference but just removes the NAs natural flatspots and helps the engine respond a little more smoothly.
Leather centre console (as fitted to the VXT)
Front splitters (as fitted to the VXT)
Black windscreen surround (this is done with a vinyl covering so can be easily removed if you prefer silver.
Pioneer stereo with ipod control and bluetooth (for handsfree phone operation)
Upgraded Pioneer speakers (bass drivers behind the seats in the usual locations and small tweeters mounted on the dash - big improvement over standard)
Driver's seat has harness slots fitted, should you wish to use harnesses.
This is a slightly early heads up really. I need to give the car a nice polish, take some pics and put it on Pistonheads, Autotrader, etc. I expect I'll get that done in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime I thought I'd put a post on here in case anyone is interested.
I've had the car for just over a year but it has been owned by a couple of members on here since new (I remember riding in it as a passenger back on '03). Runs perfect, I've spent a lot (!!) of money in the last year replacing stuff to keep it in tip top condition, more details on request. In fact, I've spent so much it seems criminal to sell it but I'm getting married next year and need the money, plus I'm just doing a dull commute in traffic every day and it seems a waste of such a nice sports car.
For those who don't know me, I've been around here since early 03, owned three VXs, driven many more, and there's not much I don't know about these cars. I've pretty much lived and breathed VXs for the past five and a half years so you can rest assured that most weekends are spent in the garage, fixing rattles, replacing rusty screws with shiny ones, taking bits off to clean them and generally being pretty geeky and anal about ownership. The car is also garaged at night.
Like I say, I'll get a couple of pictures once I get a free weekend to give the car a nice polish etc, probably ina week or so. In the meantime, here's one I took about 2 months ago
