VX was covered when moved it today, but luckily the AA truck took it to the garage. Wouldn't have fancied driving it.

Just spent best part of an hour listening to some stupid bint spinning wheels up in my road and bashing off kerbs. Went out and pushed the car straight with her son, gave her advice to not use the bloody throttle and keep on fresh snow only for her to get it sideways again. Her son then tried, actually listened to me and drove it straight out. So much for my lie in...

It was 50:50 between helping and calling the police and telling them someone was out driving exceptionally dangerously. Although I would never normally wish harm on anyone, I think that there is a strong possibility she will have an accident during the remainder of her journey.

decided today wasn't the best day for the first drive of the year of the vx, which is on A048s :D The really dangerous thing in these conditions is traction control. The Golf drives on snow pretty much as it does in the in the dry, perfect traction pulling away, the TC light just blinks away and sorts it all out. Which is great until you come to needing to stop. Upon which nothing happens  The ABS gets all confused at it takes an age to stop. 0-30mph in about 2s, 30-0 in about 60.
