ive ordered a universal one off ebay. its coming tomorow. There is a thread i found in the useful thread collection explaining the process of changing it.
Does anbody know how much of the diffuser and undertray has to be removed on the vxt to get to the lambda's?
i will be taking it apart tonite so a heads up would make things a bit easier!
you can reach in the engine bay from the passenger side to get to the main mixture sensor which is number 1, which matches the fault code you have. have you been getting poor mpg ?
in the picture below, see the blue plug, see the grey wire below, that goes to the sensor by the precat

would it not easier to take the wheel off or take the diffuser off? i dont see how im gunna reach into there. especially if it gets fiddly - which it probaly will!!

sorry to drag up old thread but, to answer the above yes it's true. I tried! Was then told by a sparky on site why but can't remember now, something to do with it being too pure silver wire or something?? had to use crimps!
