I searched high and low around the Leicestershire/Lincolnshire area for the best bargain on Eagle F1's. Harborne Tyres in Birmingham was the cheapest by a long way. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone in the area as they were quick, pleasant and offered very competitive prices throughout the tyre range.
Eagle F1's
2 * 195/45/17 and 2 * 225/45/17 = £320 (inc fitting, balancing and disposal of old tyres)
Bridgestone Potenza’s
2 * 175/55/17 and 2 * 225/55/17 = £406 (inc fitting, balancing and disposal of old tyres)

Good shout on that.
My other half lives down south and I only managed to get Eagle's a few quid cheaper ... if I didn't have motive to go to Bracknell, I wouldn't hesitate for the midlands as it would be cheaper than petrol!
Had they done VX's before yours?

The odds are that it was their first VX, but it isn't like changing tyres on a VX is different to any other car. They jacked it up correctly and inflated the tyres with the pressures that I requested if that is what you are asking.
