Does anyone know the spec of the "double platinum" spark plugs that Regal fits. I'd be interested to know the make and if they are a cooler grade (ie harder) than the standard plug? cheers Griffo

double platinum or iridium? up until you don't modify the engine internally, it's not advisable to install cooler-running plugs. once you get new cams and higher rev-limiter, you might think to switch to a cooler grade, i.e. from IK20 to IK22 (denso iridium) iridium sport are quite expensive at 100 euros and last only 10/15K miles.... while reg. iridium/platinum last much longer.... just do not expect noticeable performance gains, at least on the n/a. otoh, turbos can get up to +5/6hp!
