Drove her back yesterday:

Posted Image

Drives great, ultra responsive steering (maybe the rack did need a refurb on my last one )

Currently has Gaz Shocks, Speedlines, Fast Geo, Turbo Spoilers, Very funky headunit

A few areas need a bit of attention, the paintwork is quite scratched, haven't yet decided whether to take the plunge and buy myself a random orbital, or whether to simply pay someone else to do it :D There's quite a bit of water getting into the lights - so out with the heat gun and tigerseal :)

Of course the wether has put a bit of a damper on progress, has hoped to get the Autoglym on the go today

Now I just need to work out what is stored in the spare room, and how much can be fitted to this car :)

I know it's in good hands! Hopefully you will be able to take the plates off tomorrow! I miss it already :( The Z4 is great! tons of toys to keep me entertained and much more practical for the conditions of the roads i use daily, but i don't think i will ever have the same passion for it as the vx. Good luck with the project mate :)

I never really ventured into the world of performance last time - things should be a little different this time :)

I have a load of stuff to fit too - I'll get some pics up soon thumbsup

:D a little nerve racking :) Quite liking the stealth look; having the chance all over again I had three colours in mind; black, rab red and mandarin (the first two were the colours I wanted when I first started looking at VX's)

Or are the wheels, fuel cap, front V going to be sprayed mandarin orange, as a sort of 'inverted' tribute to your last car?? :poke:
