Christ, have you found any of the rubber speed bumps like they generally have in supermarkets, they're narrower? They definitely look better in cf.

well i made them the same distance off the floor as the front splitter, so anything the front splitter clears i know the sides will, but i have a sneaky suspicion that them kinda speed bumps might scrape

worst case scenario would be to raise the car 10all round and just drop it back down for track.. which in reality sounds like the best thing to do.

Have you thought of using something like Rhino Lip to edge the bottom? You could bend the lower 20mm or so ninety degrees inwards to create a flange (snigger) then attach the Rhino Lip to that. Still ends up being as low as you want but it's flexible to allow for scraping over bumps etc. Just a thought.

Whats a sude skirt? Lol i was talking to one of the actual engineers who worked on the aero on that very car when i took mikes car to pheonix, he basically have me lots of points i needed to concentrate on which is whats pushed me to get some of these things done. With the retractable side skirts, or active aero you either go full hog or dont bother, obviously since i cant really do it propperly i didnt bother.

eh? why haven't you fitted an OEM one? If you're going to go to the effort you might as well do it properly.

I'm afraid I'm in a minority and i don't like aluminium side things at all.
