i was cleaning the car today and noticed that the right side was lower by about 8 - 10 mm.. i remember hitting a pothole the other day so might of been that.

so after cleaning i pulled off the wheels and looked at the coilover height, on was 54mm from the bottom of the adjuster to the top of the twist plate the other just 53mm..

now i cant see this causing such a big difference once the wheels are on so i put it down to the surface it was on, not perfectly straight but not a cobbled road etc..

then i noticed a dint in the floating wishbone (top one) checked the other side and this had the same mark...

these are the pic

is this normal, both dints look to be almost identical and in the same place.

Have you lowered the car.... Looks like the wishbones are hitting the tub on full spring compression causing the dints/bends

Look at the stain/mark which is right in line with your wishbones....

I'd say you are running to low, or the suspenders are to soft meaning it's bottoming out....

have the springs got marks on, as the first photo looks as though its been coil bound? also on the second photo, wishbone looks bent!! i think i would get a straight edge and check all the wishbones for straightness does seem weird where the dings are! the other way to eliminate the hitting the tub is to remove the shocks and see if the wishbones hit anything?

Stupidly expensive - best to phone round some breakers, tho make sure you ask them to cjheck for straightness first

No it won't be ok to leave them that way, change them, otherwise they'll bend at the first heavy stress

and I know what I am talking about :
