COOL! Anyone know if it's paintwork or stickers? I've seen a couple of different cars with sticky back plastic (!) on them but I always wondered if the original Vauxhall promotion car was genuine paintwork.

I think it looks B) but would be worried about the attention it would attract, its bad enough anyway with 95% of people staring at you in a STD VX , this will ensure the other 5% are looking :o

I've been to have a look at this and I think it looks awesome - if I had the money I'd buy it!!!! If I remember correctly, its actually a blue vx with stickers on it. The Lance Owen bloke is a real enthusiast and he was the one that turned me from buying an S1 elise to a vx. I'm certain that it will have been well looked after as the vx's I looked at there were immaculate (all paint touched up, wheels de-scuffed etc) Thanks to them I have a car that's pretty reliable and I can even take my roof on and off in under 6 weeks.

I've been in this one and the Union Jack jobby is stickers. They can be removed without damaging the paint. Lance Owen were thinking about the full paint job but the cost was :o

Does anyone know who they used to do the stickers? I quite like the idea of some stripes (or flames or something ;)) but haven't really found anywhere that looks decent yet. cheers Ben

GROOVY BABY, YEAH BABY, YEAH!! :P

According to what Tony Rios told me, they're stickers....

...and it was a very expensive job!

I'd put an offer in for the car myself, except that

1) It would have to be with all the stickers removed :D , and

2) I won't have all the cash together for another 3 or 4 months yet  :( :(

This is the one I test drove few weeks back. It's actually red with blue and white stickies. Lovely drive but I felt a bit of an ass in it. I'll be buying Moonland thanks

"Wrapping" the car will have a similar effect to helitape. I guess the paintwork underneath will be in excellent condition as a result. Can't afford it but think that it looks individual. Perhaps it may even be worth more in years to come. Not sure that I am a big fan of the red VX. Might you end up after a couple of summers with faded red bits if ever the UJ was removed... Not so cool. The black one though...... :D :D :D Lambo

I bought my VXT from Tony at Lance owen and my test drive was in the Union Jack car and it was excellent I would have bought that one had they not had one in Moonland which was my preferred colour. Also Tony was excellent really knowledgeable and helpful

Nice idea, but not sure I could live with it though. If it was the only VX I could get it wouldn't put me off though. B)

Whitmores in Chiselhurst had a promotional car with union jack stickers on it. I thought it was the official Vauxhall car but they said they'd had the wrapping done privately. The guy offered to have the stickers professionally removed for free if I bought it. I said I'd keep it with the uj for a while and they could remove it when I was fed up with it!!
