They fit but you need a spacer to help with the offset....can't remember the thickness...

Quite a few people have run the Astra H SXi wheels, as they are similar to the tubby ones, need quite a big spacer and new wheel bolts tho thumbsup

Looks like a 10mm spacer thumbsup

You need longer bolts as the spacer moves the wheel further away from the hub where the bolts locate (by 10mm in this case)

For the spacer you need to be aiming for a fitted offset of around 20~26ET to arrive at this figure find out what the donor wheels offset is (ET figure) and subtract the ideal ET (above) to get the spacer width.
If say the astra wheels (example not necessarily correct!) is 38ET subtracting 26 gives a difference of 12 for the ideal spacer width.
Vauxhall 5 stud spec Spacers from Eibach go from 5mm to 16mm and then 20mm (from memory) so you'll need the 16mm one.
this will give a fitted ET on a ET38 wheel of ET22
so could be ok if the wheel is no more than 7" width.
Longer bolts needed as the bolt has to pass through wheel and spacer to screw into the hub, if using a 16mm spacer look for 45mm length bolts M12x1.5 (usually plenty on fleabay).
Some hub centric spacers are bolted to the hub using short bolts, the original whel bolts are used to attach the wheel to the spacer, these are steel and add a lot of wieght where the eibach ones are alloy.

good thread, steve crisp recomends a 6mm spacer with standard bolts on the astra sxi wheels.
do you think that would be ok?? im not the best with wheel offsets!! thumbsup

You're just going to put sticky rubber on the fronts and leave normal road tyres on the rear for trackdays or have I just misread/misunderstood?

Or just buy an old set of NA/Tubby wheels for peanuts - that will give you a second set of rears for your project. And a pair of fronts to put plant pots on

I have Astra 16" rims, not mounted yet (i'm testing GY GS D3 195/45 17 on original turbo rims).
You need 11mm spacer to reach the original offset.

SXi rims and a 6mm spacer have been fine for me for a lot of miles and a long time. The standard wheel-bolts are just fine too.

If you want retain standard bolt, 6mm is fine, but the "track" (hemm , i'm non so shure about the traslation... ;) is slighty reduced. ... .. . I've checked: standard rims are ET26; Astra ET is 37. So 37-26=11mm :-D

I have a thread somewhere (everything you ever wanted to know lol) when I went to fit these to my car and sure it was 10 or 15mm spacers needed. Still got them for sale if anyone wants them - got std turbo rears. All in black DG
