The lap belts are supposed to run low over your pelvic bones, *not* across the soft part of the abdomen...
To compare a MOG seat:

Note the larger and lower seatbelt hole.

If the outboard seatbelt end was threaded through the seat hole before bolting back to runner and the prong bit pushed through the inboard hole before clicking in place then it would work.
However this would mean the belt could not be pushed completely out of the way when harnesses were used.
I only use the harness on track and like the seatbelt for the rest of the time.
Sounds like a solution to me, JB..

It will all depend on the mounting mechanism, hopefully they'll be ready for thenMandarin, are you hoping to have one (or two) fitted in time for the National? If so, I'd really like a closer look and a sit in one, to see whether I'll i) fit and, ii) whether it's comfortable, if you could spare a couple of minutes.
