Some additional details. Engine weighs in at around 111kg. Cylinder head has Natrium-cooled exhaust valves. It's cam specs are close to N/A but with slightly softer ramp angles. The head is Kokill casted instead of the lost foamed cast used for the N/A-head. This method gives a much stronger head, the roof of the combustion chamber is thicker (from 6-8mm in N/A to >13mm).

Can I use my own ECU?
No. Courtenay MS or Thorney MS may be able to map and run it up somewhat using the standard ECU but this engine comes supplied with a external GM crank trigger wheel and inductive crank position sensor. Therefore it will need a third party engine management system and mapping Guru to set it up efficiently. You could still maintain the standard ECU for alarm, dash and ancillary functions. I do have a third party ECU (Emerald) for this setup but I am keeping it for my own use.

What are these Clevite Rod and Main Bearings?
These bearings and rods are cast differently and use different materials that your 'standard' bearing & rod. They have a long proven history in race engines.

What benefits does a Chrome-Moly Crankshaft give?
Its is stronger than the standard crankshaft therefore it allows you to create and deliver more power to the drive shafts without bottom end failure failure.

Does the crank have standard trigger pattern?
No. That said, when I bought this engine I wasn't aware Eagle did one with and without, so it may have it :P

Where is the engine?
Under a window on my living room floor. Engine is in and will be shipped from Ireland. Coming in at over 100kg it will cost more than a postage stamp to ship.

Why am I selling?
Engine is now surplus to my requirements as I have another lined up for the car. Somebody in today's VX community may benefit from having it. If not I don't mind keeping it for potential future use, I ain't pushed to move it.

How much do u want for it?
Offers over 2.2k considered. This excludes shipping costs.
