nah - only good thing about ps3 is the blu ray player. of which i dont have any blu ray dvds lol. also they far too over priced still. maybe il get in future.

Get a PS3
i'm not into games at all really, but got the craving for an x-box. it blew the CD drive after about a month, then it did it again & now i got the 3 red lights of death. its only just a year old
i wouldn't mind if i'd hammered it, but i bet its not seen any more than 6 or 7 hours use.

Get it sent off under warranty??? Mine did it at about 2yrs and Microsoft were great sorting it, and i had it back in about a week (much quicker than the quoted). Just make sure they confirm the problem you have is one of the non-cost issues if its older than a year.

My son has had his XB360 for 2 1/2 years. Got RROD - completed details of proble, online. UPS collected it next day and it was replaced with a brand new console 9 days later. All completely free of charge!
