Just had my geometry done at CLCM ( Imnotworthy) and I am soooooooo happy! :D :D :D :D :D All understeer is gone, the car feels more planted in the pouring rain than it did in the dry and at speed it doesn't feel as if it's all over the road anymore! Yippee :D I went in and said I wanted some of the understeer taken out, and a little more agressive but not full track agressive. "I'll try my fast road setup" he says! When I went to pick up the car he gave me all the printouts of everything he did and then said that he thinks that he hit the sweet spot and left the back end fairly negative (whatever that means) and said that if I felt it could do with a little tweaking or wasn't happy with the way it handled to get it back to him and he'd adjust it for me. Totally pleased with the service and it now feels like I have a completely different car. thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

Felt pretty peachy when I had it. Must be like an F1 car now!!! :P
Once the suspension is all sorted on Tubbs it will be taken straight to CLCM...

It's superb mate. When you take it along, ask him to do his Fast Road settings thumbsup
The understeer feels a lot less even in the monsoon that hit Edinburgh a couple of hours ago. It feels so much better at speed too!

Can't wait to get it out in the dry! :groupjump:

I am currently on standard shocks. I plan to upgrade but not for 6 months or so. Should I get a geo set up done anyway for some summer hooning?

Not sure if you can see this or not, cause i just took a quick pic with my iphone:

[attachment=21075:IMG_0121.JPG]

The back ones were siezed so he said to try it out as it was running negative (?). He says if I wanted the back done then it would need to stay with him overnight while he took a vice to it! :S I said I would try it out and let him know, but it feels great!

Is that not breach of copyright? :P

Sounds good Bob. Well after the hassle of my ball joints has all been fixed, the rear shock has been found to be sheared at the bottom mount. After thats sorted, it'll be sent to see CLCM. An expression about some worms and a can come to mind...

I took mine there a few wks ago after i done my tie rods but i just got a standard geo and i think im going to end up going back for a fastroad/track set up because im not that impressed with. It doesnt feel as gd as it was before and now understeers a bit too easy.
