Hi all, I have a problem with the driver's side window. I have searched and found how to adjust etc. but can't find anything specific to what I seem to have. Today when winding the window back up it got stuck with about 3 inches to go. I took the door cards off which I had recently stuck back with velcro after covering. I could then see that the window mechanism seems to move around a lot, which is what must be causing the loud rattles aswell. I had to move the mechanism in and out whilst winding to get the window to move as it seems like something directly behind the window winder was catching and stopping the window from moving. I tried to wind it down and it got stuck again at the same level. Does anyone have any idea what could be catching in this area, or had this problem? Many thanks

Just did this repair/adjustment again.

The problem screw is located between in the channel the window slides down at the front.

You can only see the screw if the window is wound down below the screw.

If your window is starting to play up and sticks every now and then.

Do yourself a favour and wind the window down and give it a tighten.

I wish I had

failure to do this resulted in 1 hour picking about with the door trims off.

Peace and Love.
