I believe AmD cams are no higher lift than standard but longer duration. I think they are of the order of 260 degrees but I am not certain.

OK! Haven´t found lift and duration of the standard cam either. Both inlet AND outlet cam lobes are of course of interest.

got my std and the mantapart racecams measured today by a camdesigner. std-cams at 0.050" 171,8 degree and 0.23472" camlift op1148ec at 0.050" 236.2 degree and 0.29528" camlift (crower) he laughed and wondered if i was going to use them on the street :D they we´re pretty wild in his eyes and he is used to evil cams (former world record holder for smallblock doorslammer), so i hope that they deliver the power as expected. //anders

So it is a Crower cam. Great difference but how does the values translate to european measurements?

std-cam lift on valve is 9.5mm and 12mm on the race-cam it´s the 1148ec cam not the es that i bought.

Anyone who knows the duration for the standard cams? And cam replacements that have been complete failures? Is a high lift good/bad? Will a 256° cam on a standard engine give any improvement? Anyone? Imnotworthy

The standard is 245 says Imotech. An old post here said the Courtenay cam was 256° which seems reasonable.
