As lovely as they are, the OZ Superleggera's never came in 5x110 and there are several topics here about fitting these 5x112 wheels with wobbly bolts. I can get a new set in 8J17 ET35 and this should be perfect for the VX rear. And I have no big concerns fitting these with wobbly bolts on the right spigots. Front is more tricky, as the preferred 7J16's seem hard to find in 5x112 and with the right ET's. (Can get some new 7J17's, only in ET48... ) And not so sure on fitting spacers and wobbly bolts onto the already sensitive VX frontend... Superleggera's in 4x100 are more common and if I change to 4 lug hubs that should fit straight on. (VX front end is not so stressed and even more unsprung weight saving. :D ) Only worried on the different looks of mixing 4 and 5 bolts wheels... Any sensitive comments on this?

You know, there's now a lighter OZ wheel, coming in 8x17 and native 5x110 ;) (only problem is that it doesn't exist in 16)

can you drill out new 112 pcd holes equidistant from the originals and tap in new threads on the hubs?

These are 5x112's as you might guess. Thought long about redrilling the wheels + steel conical inserts options, but for these wobbly bolts will do at the rear. Front needed a spacer (ET48 - 25mm) and that converts from 5x110 to 5x112. Something I thought about when ordering new bolts: VX220 bolts are normally conical M12 and these Superleggera's have a ball-seat for VW/Audi M14 bolt. So... Redrilling the original VX hub boltholes for M14 thread on a 56mm radius should just be possible... (But discs need redrilling too...)

Relocating 5 new boltholes in the hub is not a good idea, as the thread areas are raised to create more meat there:

Redrilling the holes for M14 might just work, although it is close. Maybe better use wheelstuds on a 56mm radius.

Just saw that that Eliseparts hub is probably lightened at the outer edge. A normal Vectra hub seems to have more meat on the outside:

5-bolt flange of the bearing units on the VX (Vectra/Astra) has a significantly larger diameter than the 4-bolt one on the Elise (Astra/Corsa), so it has a little more meat around the bolt holes. Bye, Arno.

Glad to see you got sorted in the end! Lookin' good. But do you not fancy powder coating them?
