had my car serviced at mgp(mid point garage) in whitchurch today, there a vauxhall specialist and i didnt want any old garage to do a full service so searched and found them, really nice premises which i find is always a good start, nice friendly people and free coffee and biscuits!charged me £194.99 all in for the full service, only thing they didnt do was change the brake fluid but in my experience thats always extra,as well as the service they did check it all over and told me my header tank was leaking(which i already knew)but atleast they found that out without me saying anything,so all good so far until they told me i needed new discs and pads all round, not happy but theres always something that crops up, having read previous threads i sort of knew how much that would be to replace but asked them anyway, they told me"only vauxhall do the parts and it would be approx £1200 to sort" :o ermm thanks but no thanks, rang autovaux and for all discs and pads £180 all in and they had them in stock!!i cant believe a "vauxhall specialist" havnt heard of autovaux??? also even tho i booked it in for the service last week i had to wait a hour and a half for the air filter to turn up! that said maybe im being a bit unfair and maybe they dont get a lot of vx`s in,atleast they have used the right oil etc and ive checked the levels etc and everything seems to have been done properly,so not sure if i would use them again or not, maybe servicing would be fine but dont think id use them for anything else, 7/10

Doesn't even sound any cheaper than a main dealer.

the price was about the same for most "specialists" and ive only heard bad things about dealers so didnt want to take it to a dealer, and mpg are quite well known and respected in the vauxhall tuning scene,,apparantly?
