I have noticed over the last few days when i lift off the throttle the revs do not instantly drop? I cant say I have ever noticed before and it is not for a long period of time, is it usual?

Not exactly, just the revs dont instantly drop, they dont increase further but just appear to hesitate before dropping off?

My old turbo (RIP) used to do this on and off. Could never work out why but it was annoying. Mine used to increase revs slightly when coming off the throtle. It did have a superchips remap.

New owner to a speedster turbo and new to the forum. Love the car but the rev hang is drivning med crazy. I would love to get my tune corrected, can you point me in a direction where i can find help? I have my tune on the computer so it would be a matter of sending it to someone who can fix it and send it back.

Siztenboots would have been your man but he no longer does it. Any of the main tuners should be able to do it, try Courtenays

I have the same thing on my VXT. Glad its a thing that is built in and not an issue. Now i know it is, im not too bothered with it. Does the rev holding for a bit aid in keeping the turbo spinning?

I have this - initially thought it was me not getting off the throttle quick enough when changing gear.

There is a switch on the clutch pedal , it’s bracket tends to sink back and might need bending upwards a bit . The switch tells the ECU you are changing gear and is likely to be the source of your issue .
Mine got really bad and would sometimes red line on up changes

Mine also does this, but as dipping the clutch drops out the cruise control I know that switch is ok. Always though it was programmed in to most fly by wire cars to help give smooth gear changes to those who can't drive properly!
