Hi all, Just wondering how to go about booking a trip to the Ring, where do I look to make sure the track is open on the day I arrive? Dont fancy getting there only to find the WTCC have selfishly booked the day for themselves. Or is the toll-road part of the Ring competely separate to the actual racing circuit? Cheers! Chris

The Nordschleife (what most people know as the ring) is a public toll road but does get reserved every now and then. The Nurburgring circuit (the one the F1 guys use) is completely seperate.

Calender of dates is here

Touristenfahrten are public days that are open to everyone.

The dates for 2010 won't be posted until around the end of December.

Dates usually come out around Christmas but they are provisional. They say the end of February is the best time to be totally sure that the opening dates and times are set in stone.
