I've just been informed why i have TA and others start with 11. The engine's were built in two different locations and thats what the numbering scheme relates to:
TA - (not sure of spelling) were made in Toewonda
11 - (not sure of spelling) were made in Kaiserslaven
The TA engines have NO affected engine or chassis range
The 11 engines may fall into the affected engine or chassis range
Hope that makes sense...... please don't flame me if its total horse poo, i just thought i'd best pass on what i've just been told
