Carbon door sill protectors - where from? Anyone else sell them apart from Thorney? Thorneys site doesnt have any prices - and im awaiting a reply from him. Any other options out there? doesnt have to be carbon btw. cheers Dan

They are usually found on ebay, but there don't seem to be any at the moment.

The group buy seems strangely stalled at the moment.

Hmmm, eBay does seem strangely devoid of them at the moment.... I can't remember the name of the guys I got mine from but I'm sure they were listing carbon fibre dash plates and stuff too (doesn't seem to be any of them on eBay at the moment either!) I e-mailed them to ask about sill guards and they listed a set for me straight away. You might just have to hold out until they re-appear?

I bought mine from his brother who lives in Ripley, Derbyshire.

I dont think Thorney supplies them anymore, didnt do when I enquired. I went to the guy who supplied Thorney with them if you want the exact same ones as the shop. PM me or something if you want his contact details and I will go to the enormous effort of digging them out for you.

If youre just after a good looking set of sill covers but they dont have to be carbon, go to your local sign makers and they can certainly make you sill covers with whatever finish/graphics etc you require and its usually very cheap in comparison to off the peg items.

Mine are fibreglass made to look like carbon fibre, bought on e-bay in January this year but the link seems to have expired. I'll PM you an e-mail address for the guy I bought them off. I think they look ok and they cover up the cracked sill I have from falling over trying to open the front bonnet.

I got mine from the eBay seller village_fox. They also sell the lower clam section and other bits.

If they are not selling any then ask them to put some up. Usually buy-it-now for about 80 quid.
