stick them in the vx i'll look after them....no fox where i live :D

thanks Fab, kind offer but the idea is that the chickens don't end up in stew. Also there is no way those bloody chickens are going near the VX after the damage they've done to our garden.

C'mon Chris you can't miss out on the opportunity to drive out to one of the greates tracks on the planet with such a large group of VX's for the sake of some bloody chickens!!!!!!!!!! Lock them in a bloody box for two days. One of those cages you get for dogs, someone will have one. This will be the biggest and best International VX trip of all time!!! Be part of history man!

Not out completely yet Jim, got some others I can try but they're not our usual sitters who know the game. Just didn't want to hold anything up which could jeopardise Joss not getting a taker for her payed for room.

Here you go Fab, just add wine and simmer for an hour

Car is running and looking like it will be ready, rr booked in for Thursday to get it all checked and running as it should. Sounds like it is going to be pretty good !!!! s/c and dump valve add a new dimension to the sound.

your car does seem to be very shy when it comes to a track... it must shake in its boots which then break something

Track shy, the old Striker did 11 full trackdays and three let downs last year. Hopefully the new one should work but Spa will be the first time I actually drive it. It sounds awesome and we will see how it goes on the rollers. I wonder what a little 1600 Toyota with a s/c can do.

Fina-farking-lly. My car is back together with it's nice shiny uprated fuel pump and only a few left over bolts. Still need to sort the brake overhaul out but, I too, am on the rolling road on Thursday for a final health check. Hopefully, I'll have enough power to drag my ass to the top of Raidillon now. :jump:

I'm off to BOT tomorrow for a spruce up and some new brake pads. Although I might have to use the force to make it up Raidillon.

Neil, have you replaced the original intake pipe on yours...? Mine was collaspsing and causing boost to drop off, and this solved it for me. Hope you're all set other than that :)

Feckedy feck. Just seen something about a tunnel collapsing under the track at Blanchimont. Everyhting due to run at Spa next week has apparently been cancelled.

Paul's translation says there's no damage to the track but looking at the video, it would seem there's a couple of cracks across it.
