I'm up for starting something new, before this site disappears/crashes again

The biggest problem is getting the idea of the ground. What about arranging a Zoom meeting with the Lotusforums Admin (I think his name is Bibs) and Jaxta plus anyone else who has a view/interest in making it happen?

Yep, I'm inHi, well there seems to be a consensus that moving to a new site may work.

I've used some software to crawl the forum and put it into a format that AI can work with. My thinking was that potentially, we could access the 'learnings' (i.e. the aggregated/condensed forum knowledge and opinion) via an AI Chat Assistant (which is one of the things my company does) for the future and be able to have access to that easier than trawling/searching amongst the interesting but less useful, 'other stuff'! I've just not had chance to try it out yet but it should work.
So perhaps we compress this forum into an AI-powered knowledge base and if there's enough interest, take the forum'y (chat, community, new) stuff over to a new one. I'm not a Facebook person but I've joined the various groups out of necessity - I'd personally prefer a forum so 25+ Facebook groups.
I suppose the other factor here is who the audience will be for VX220's going forward. From my perspective (being new, etc) it seems like it's a smaller world than it used to be and will likely get smaller so perhaps there's some benefit to having a VX220 section / area on a pre-existing Lotus forum? Or join an Opel Speedster one so we can share knowledge, experiences, etc with them but in our own area? There's probably more knowledge on this forum historically (i.e. loads of mods, discussions, etc) than there will be going forward - or at least, it'll be different topics.
Basically, I'm really keen for all the years of shared experiences on here to not be lost (hence me crawling and saving it). I will test if our AI stuff will work in the next few weeks - if it does (and I'll need some of you guys to test it), then we need to work out how to manage that - to make sure it doesn't get lost, etc. Needs to be in the hands (in some way) of a group of people rather than one I think.
For info, ChatGPT references this forum a lot! It can't quite work it's way around it (it won't have all of the content from here but it does have a lot of it) but I can see from the stuff I've been asking, that it's directly from this forum so it's already kinda out there albeit a bit generalised. If the forum goes, then it should retain it but no-one will have proper control over it.

I'm on LotusForums as a paid subscriber (£30 a year from memory) and they do have a "free" option too. Quite a few people from here on TLF.
Is this the easy answer? Is it still managed?
Bibs is a great guy and has been involved in TLF/Lotus Esprit World for over 30 years and his site is rock solid, with regular software upgrades, etc...
Would be a great option if we could, failing that, TLF also has a VX220 section which can be found here https://forums.thelo...e-116/#comments
It's not well used, but if people wanted to and joined, we could build it out.
