Belgium... I now understand.

Beautiful roads though!

Beautiful roads? Belgium? I hope you're being sarcastic... The roads are crap here! In the neighborhood of Spa some of the roads are ok, but that's about it. Nothing compared to what you guys have in North Wales and Scotland.

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think of this vs. the VX220 vs. the Sport 160

http://www.pistonhea...les/1293089.htm

Before buying my VX220 from N17VES I'd been going back and forth between the VX and a 968CS, in the end I bought a VX, mainly because taxes/insurance are cheaper, but the cars still grab my attention, I'd love to own one someday. If I want reliability I'm sure these would do fine...

I wasn't being sarcastic.

They must have disintegrated in the last few years when i was in the Ypres area of Belgium the roads were in fantastic condition.

As for roads here, this cold snap has properly buggered the roads in some areas - on the A1 last night there are massive chunks of the surface missing - fortunartely I wasn't in the VX as the crashing into and out of the missing surface was tough in the MG. VX would have been horrific.

Went out in a supercharged 968CS (300bhp) about a year ago. Very similar performance to a stage 2 VXT on track but the weight balance is better. Nice cars once charged. I'd personally rather have the S1.

Here's a video of me driving in the Ypres-region... Some of the roads are quite nice, but it's more the kind of road I'd like to do in a 106 Rallye of a Clio 172.

Nothing wrong with the K series engine ? You have to be joking ! Ask Caterham why they dropped the engine. It has such a small water capacity that the slightest leak and BANG, at least a new head gasket, at worst an engine out rebuild. Plus of course, a leaky roof............................. But hey, your money, buy what you like.

I'll call and and ask but I'd imagine is becuase you can't buy a new K Series any more or becuase there aren't many N Series about or becuase Rover went into administration and thir furture was an uncertainity.

It's still an engine that weighs considerably less than the competition then and now.
