Whats the easiest way of getting at the fog lights? Am thinking of taking them out for some extra brake venting, as I've never turned them on in 6 years, also considering swapping the pathetic horn while I'm down there. Took the inner wheel liner out but still looks a pig, any tips welcome. Martin s ps Yes I searched first.

the easiest way i found was when the clam was off....

think you can cut the 2 bolts off (or if you are lucky enough to just un do them) from under neath the clam (behind your splitter)

and there is one above below your headlight

will try and find some pictures!

edit - here we go. these pictures where taken by looking below the front pax headlight :)

Take the headlights out and you will be able to remove the fog light bulbs. Steve.

One 13mm bolt and the light will come straight out then just reach through the opening and twist the back off the fog light and pop a new bulb in!

Could'nt be simpler!!!

Need to change a bulb too - is it easier with wheel removed or just turned in for access?

easiest way to get the fog lights out? Get someone to reverse into the front end. Apparently they drop out quite easily! thumbsup

Not sure I like the idea of James being pimped to me for any reason! But, he hadnt done this job before so may give up. Joe, do you think you can get to it all via the headlight hole? Martin

Two pairs of undoubtedly rusted to buggery little screws on the underside of the clam near each of the splitters. Then just the very skinny bolt which is underneath the headlight. A bit of wrestling to get the wiring disconnected and to manoeuvre the bracket and light out of the space that the headlight sits in.
