anyone got a picture/link to where the lambda sensor/s plug into, looking from above the engine.... i believe one of the sensors has a right plug in socket, and a wrong one...(below the coolant tank??) would be good to see both.... seen the 'useful thread' lambda bit, but still unsure..... i'm about as mechanical minded as a brick can swim....... chinky chinky

Yes, the connectors which the lambda sensors plug into.
Actually just the post cat sensor connector as the pre-cat one is shown in the useful thread collection.

I'm checking the connectors as per duncans advice on sorting my eml. Theres a connector in the pax side rear corner below the coolant tank which doesnt have anything plugged into it, I'm wondering if its the rear lambda sensor connector....

There are two connectors the same, but they are going different places
The "large wiring bundle" goes forward under the engine mount bracket and disappears - this is the one with the spare connector
If I'm correct, the lambda sensor connector goes onto the wiring which goes to the ECU, which is also the same wire the pre-cat sensor is connected to. Is this right?

Anyone able to comment?

they are connected correctly, the two lambda sensors connect directly to the ecu, they share the same +12v feed and heater feeds but obviously use seperate cables for the output signal

Would be interested to know if anyone else has a "random connector" but fairly sure it's not causing my problems. Time to get the bottom off the car again... Thanks for your help guys
