Retain the oe recir if your going to use it - other option is to block the oe recirc but you need to mave the larger d/v a true recirc[/u]

yeh i thought that!
so if i wanted to use a d/v, i need to blank off the recirc valve, and make sure i get a twin piston d/v!

Recirc is a d/v and in the case of the vx is attached to the turbo itself. (recirc vents the air back into the inlet system rather than the outside worldlike the d/v you are talking about)
As stated if you blank the oe recirc d/v you want the new ext d/v to be a recirc.

please................. im NO chav!!!
i thought the idea of a d/v was to eliminate lag between gear changes!
that fake d/v sounds s**T!
The dump valve can help avoid turbo stall on lift-off, but your OE recirc DV already does this job. Hence if you add the to-atmosphere DV to the system, all you'll gain is the fizzy pop noise.
