Not sure if it's been posted already but here I go anyway.

elise-shop.com Has Opened a UK Wharehouse Facility
07 April 2010

Press Release : Exciting announcement from elise-shop.com

elise-shop.com are pleased to announce the opening of a new warehouse facility in the United Kingdom. Located just west of London, 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport and 5 minutes from the M4 customers will also be able to collect parts, whether they are based in the UK or abroad.

In a joint collaboration with respected Lotus specialist and race preparation experts Steve Williams Sports Cars (swlotus.com), the new facility will offer prices in Sterling, at UK VAT rates with free overnight delivery* and can also offer an on-site fitting service by arrangement with swlotus.

elise-shop.com, established in 1998, was the first specialized online shop to support the Lotus Elise community and have over ten years experience in both road and track supply, including support for the Elise Trophy. Their network of British design and production specialists are responsible for numerous products including the Hurricane range.

Elise-shop.com are the official distributor for Carbon Lorraine (CL-Brakes), Nitron Racing shock absorbers, Larini Systems exhausts and Willans harnesses.

elise-shop.com will continue to operate its Netherlands-based facility which will service the remainder of Europe and the rest of the world.

*Free delivery applies to orders over £75 + VAT in mainland UK except the Highlands. – please check before ordering. On-site fitting available at extra cost.

A bit of competition for Elise parts since you we won't have to pay the silly shipping and Netherlands VAT rates.

Anti-roll bar droplinks £17.25 + VAT : thumbsup : Track rod ends £15.63 + VAT : thumbsup : (for others, already paid about twice that through EliseParts) This is a very astute move from them. I have spoken with thier guys so many times, but everytime had to apologise as they couldn't get parts to me quickly enough and with affordable shipping.

Cool. Wierd thing is their website makes no mention of the UK operation. Perhaps you have to go through the checkout before it gives you that option?

If you go to the checkout there is a dropdown box to select the country you are in!

Ordered a few bits from them earlier, all prices showing up in '£' even before going to the checkout.

There's a few mentions of their UK operation which i found hard to miss:

Both on the right when i access the main page. Think they did a site update a few days ago.

lol I have just seen it on another computer, the old dutch images must have been in my cache. That's a result, I'll be ordering my tow hooks from them. Cheers thumbsup

Does anyone know a discount code as I will be buying CL5+ as well so it could be an expensive spree?

Well, just put in my order. Ended up having to spend £80 to get free shipping because the VAT changed from the shipping page to the final checkout. Didn't bother calculating which one was correct though. Also, said my parts would be shipped wihtin 2 weeks. May have been a CYA statement, but they may also not have much stock in the UK yet.
