did you ask in words for one , or give them the part number? there isnt a blanking plate explicitly for the VX. But take the part number in and ask just for that.

i got a blanking plate of vauxhall last week. Was only £3.80!! bargain. The didnt have it on their system, until i gave them the part number 24575592. Give them that, and it will come up on their system. Car runs much better with egr swivelled out of the way

Swivelled out of the way? Why not remove it all together and put an EGR cheater on it

Can't find a guide on search chaps. Would love a photo or two of how/where to fit the blanking plate. Thank you! J

just to the left of the head (big lump of metal in the hole when you open the boot lid) there is a cylinder standing up with a plug ontop, this is the EGR valve, its held on with two 13mm bolts. undo bolts, keep metal gasket, clean up area, put gasket and blanking plate on and if keeping the EGR valve fitted, bolt one hole of that to it all too

Location is circled in yellow here. The actual valve isn't in place here but shows the gasket. The blanking plate goes over the top of this and you can then re-attach the valve by one bolt and twist it so it hovers over the void beside the engine.
