I have an issue with my abs and I am 99.9% sure it is the connector on my n/s rear wheel, which I am planning to fix on saturday (as my mot is looming). Anyway thought I would just check with the OP-COM that I was right and the OP-COM will not connect to the ECU for ABS, for engine, alarm etc.. all fine just won't ffor the ABS. I have connected before fine. Does this mean there is something more serious wrong?? Am going to try ECU reset but would that actaully make a difference??

From my mind the ABS is independent from the ECU and also has a different connector on the OBDII diagnosis port...

with all of the op com software i have used, you can go into ABS and find and delete the error codes you need the software and a laptop though not a scanguage or anything like that!

Just thought I would post up, that my abs fault is now fixed!!! Just in time for my MOT this week!! I replaced the rear near side hub as I knew it was dodgy but the abs light didn't go out and my laptop still would not connect to the abs module so decided the abs module was at fault. But luckily I decided to check the abs fuse for the twentieth (no exaggeration, was the first thing I checked). Fuse looked fine, tested the fuse with a multimeter, all fine, but thought what the hell lets change the fuse away. Switch the ignition on and hey presto the abs light went out!!! The moral to the story is: even if the fuse looks and tests okay, replace it!! I know I will from now on.
