Hi Looking for help...again. I am going to attempt to fit a new forge recirc valve to the vxt and have checked through the useful link but cannot find a 'how to' for this. Has anyone done this before? Thanks G

i have also just got one but not fitted it yet, pretty sure your best bet is getting to it from the driverside wheel arch?? take the arch out and will give you ok acces to it! unscrew the 3 bolt things and then put the new one in place, sorted :-)

If its an aftermarket dump valve you are wanting to add and leaving the standard one in place next to the turbo, then I have a wee pdf of how to do it. PM me for details if youre after it...

If you take off the intake pipe and upper heat shield you'll be able to see/feel the recirc valve if you stand on the drivers side and feel down. Its held on by 3 bolts, just be wary when you remove them as it'll be under spring tension

When I did mine I went in from underneath and removed the bottom turbo-intercooler hose to gain access. The fiddliest thing is getting the bugger back in because of the spring.

Well, I have had the recirc valve fitted and still no joy. Still boosting a little less losing power slightly then another short boost  So I have taken it to a local garage to see if they can diagnose the problem! Think he said he was going to try and divert away from the actuater to eliminate that first??? It has a stage two map and full exhaust so should be running 240 but on the rolling road was only showing 175???? Fingers crossed G

Well another day another $ Trying the turbo boost solenoid tomorrow, as when they diverted the actuater the boost stayed constant leading them to believe this will cure the problem... I hope so, starting to miss it now.... G

Hi, My VXT came with an aftermarket Bailey atmospheric DV which I hate. I have just ordered the oem replacemt Forge DV from courtneys in order to return the Dv system to it's OEM state. The only problem is the OEM impulse/signal hoses have been disconnected and I don't no where to connect them back up too. Does any have a diagram showing these connections? Any guidence would be great! Cheers Cahill

its the small tube sticking out of the side of the solenoid, located by the intake manifold. It is fed by the vacuum box (again right underneath the intake) and the vacuum supply from the fuel pressure regulator T and the throttle body.

Designed as a direct replacement for the OEM valve which is prone to failure when the engine has been tuned or had an upgrade to the engine management software. This valve is complete and ready to install with no fitting kit required. Courtenay Sport

Interesting. when my resirc valve went a year or so ago I took it to courtenays. They said they wasn't an issue with the recirc valve and they had very few fail.
