Same on the NA. Low down on the firewall/bulkhead on the nearside. Absolute pain to change (first problem is even getting the correct one).

Cheers. I will trot down now to replace it, hopefully it is in the same place! Oh looks like it will be a saga to do then! Bugger.

Just wait until you have to replace the fuel pump with an upgraded version and also replace the line between the pump and the filter, for the full unadulterated hate fest. Absolutely, definitely, never again. :beat:

Yep, that's the wrong one by the look of it. :(

Don't know whether thats a Vectra/Astra version for the same engine and suppliers assume it fits the VX. By all accounts, it's not any easier getting the right part from AutoVaux or other specialists. I got mine from eBay through a Vauxhall dealer (Archie Moss, I think) getting rid of surplus stock.

Absolute f**kin bitch of a job, I chose to do mine whilst I had the rear clam off doing the S/C conversion and even then it wasn't the simplest. The only thing trickier than actually changing it is getting the right one, forget ebay, forget autovaux, the only way to get the right one is to take the Part Number to your local Vauxhall dealer.
