Corn Fields are great for stopping cars very quickly from 90mph while only leaving small scratches thumbsup

Not yet, I don't have the spin on camera but the Performance Box telemetry is quite entertaining. My fastest lap was a 1:42 in the first session. After the spin in the second session laps were up to the 1:44's. Must have left my bottle in that field

Sounds like you had a lucky escape buddy.
Good job it was today, another month and the field would of been harvested and ploughed. Then it would of been bumpy.

Will it polish out sir?

My car is vinyl wrapped so I just need to replace that part of the film thumbsup The speed it stopped the car was unreal, I was totally expecting to see the clam in peices. Was very pleasantly suprised when I got back to the pits.

Off an acre of wheat you would get about 3.5 ton of corn and 1.5 ton of straw. So a vx will take an impact of 5 ton of wheat then thats if you travelled the distance of an acre. Not bad for a plastic car. thumbsup

I only went about 5 meters into it. Spend ages getting the corn seeds out, it was definately an experience. edit - Yeah it was the JCS's, I tried to take them without lifting off the throttle  Good spot BTW thumbsup

TBH the spin started at 90, tarmac slowed me down a bit then the grass then the corn. I'm going to overlay the telemetry onto google maps so I can see exactly how fast I was going when I hit the corn. [attachment=22239:Croftspin.JPG] I was doing 37mph when I hit the corn.

I had a 4 wheel drift on a damp circuit doing about 90 last time I was at croft. Good times!
