Got the VX in Courtenays tomorrow for a few bits and bobs and re-remap.
So I've booked Mallory on Saturday to test her out.
Anyone going or been? I've never done Mallory before.

I have book with LoT in France, two days, end of August, 30 and 31. Since I am back from the Nordshleife, I've been thinking to rest and save money :-)
However I am really tempted, I live around 24 miles form Mallory park, so it is pretty handy. I have never been there.

They did not sent the second confirmation email and I do not even know if I have a reserved place and at what time the track day will start.

Me neither - had to guess and hope for the best.
Nice to meet you Riccardo. What a fun track - very fast. I didn't get Gerrards corner sussed all day - I should have been able to go much quicker around there.

Gerrards is flat in 4th with a change to 5th halfway round in my Renault. They even have a line in the tarmac to help you.
I am there on the 14th August with the Renault and the VX, £80. Anybody fancy it?
Dunc always came to this one and McKewanslarger has been the last two years.

Nice to meet you too. With the instructor I was much faster in the end. I was breaking too early and I was driving in the internal part of the curve. I wish the brakes where better... in the end they were just failing... I use the handbrake to stop the car in the paddock.

I was driving externally of that line in the tamarac (in the first part of Gerrards). With the VX is 3th gear and 4th before the end.
I will be abroad on the 14th, but I am willing to come back again in Mellory Park, and may be do some fishing in the lake during lunch time

It was nice to see two VXs at Mallory PArk - I was in my Caterham Academy car. I did say hello and have a bit of a chat with P11 COV.
For what it's worth I started doing Gerrard's in third but found myself having to change up half way through so it was fourth all the way. Every car's different of course so this isn't wholly suitable for the VX.
Enjoyed the day - and enjoyed the circuit.

I was taking it in 3rd but later changed to 4th as it saved the gear change and wasn't any lower with the low down torque to the VX.s
Certainly not flat though with 300bhp under the right foot!
