Sadly I don't have mine anymore. However when I was having endless problems with my airbag warning light, I came across a Corsa B squib which was absolutely identical to the VX one, apart from the part number. I bought one but never fitted it and I think I eventually binned it. Not a bad punt for a 10er though.

I am trying to figure out if mine is broken are there any obvious mechanical/physical signs.

Nope. What is the problem you're having?

£8 I paid from a scrappy. Same as some astra models. If you can take it in to them it is easy to match up.
