Why Does The Vx Do This After A Spin?

First time you can see in the vid here at 0:45 in. Car has stalled in the spin, try starting it but it needs quite a bit of turnover to get going (almost like it's flooded), once it's started and I move it out of the way you can hear the motor revving up and down (is searching for idle the correct term?). Turning it on and off fixes the problem.
Second time at Oulton Park spun around the bend at the end of the straight, ended up facing the right direction and motor doing the revving thing, again restart fixed the problem.
Also both times the EML came on. 10mins with fuse 8 out fixed it both times.
A guy who had previously owned a VXT mentioned it was probably because I didn't clutch in time and going backwards has forced the motor to turn the wrong way which is why the EML comes on.
Any techy gurus have an explanation?

yep, engine has spun backwards and thrown exhaust gas into the intake.
takes a few turns to clear.
clutch in earlier (or dont spin)
Done
and the revving it's doing by itself?
It is telling you that you should cease doing track days.
