Looking into some repair work and wondered if anyone used these?

The repair kit looks good value, although you might want some more mixing cups as you wont be able to do it in one hit. Ebay also has a repair kit of a similar style but its £35 and dosent cover as big an area (but it is lloyds approved) The filler dosent say what it is... eg is it The P40 stuff full of chopped mat and generally raggedy shite, or a paste like fibrol etc. I used this filler/paste for my repairs http://www.ecfibregl...-2/default.aspx Great stuff, changes colour to let you know when its gone off

Maccy d's cups, but they are contaminated with fizzy drink so no use for mixing resin

The repair kit looks good value. I've done a fair it of fibreglassing before - bit of a black art IMHO, and can often be far cheaper for a professional to do to get the required finish without cracking. Suppose it depends on excatly what your repairing.

Fizzy drink contamination should be perfect to help replicate the bubbling on our plastic sh1t boxes

Just avoid the Davids fast glass kits from halfrauds, extortianate(sp?) prices. The link as said looks great value. For some reason it wont let me post again below, but you can also try roofing places in regards to chrisgolds post if you need a large batch of resin/matting etc

Boat repair place by me and they have huge drums of the resin, hardener and huge 100m rolls of fibreglass, thats always been the cheapest option if you need lots of it.

Sorry, so what im saying is try a Marine repair place!

These kits are ok but they don't include vat and delivery so if you buy one it works out at £37 i was going to buy one but could be cheaper on fleabay.

a short drive to Billing Aquadrome might find a chandelry/GRP supplier
