So, you've cleaned & polished, clayed & waxed your pride and joy and after an afternoon of countryside blatting you arrive home to find various flie & bugs all over the front end of your car. Is it ok to use glass cleaner on the bodywork to get the flies and grime (especially around the rear) off? I must admit that I use it rather than cleaning the car every time I use it & it works well. Are you going to tell me that I have stripped all the wax & polish off the car by using it? If so, I dont care! ;)

Mr Muscle Oven cleaner Works well on dirty wheels.

Mr Muscle Sink and Plughole unblocker works well as a fuel additive for dirty injectors.

Don't do it!!! I learned the hard way  . If your very lucky nothing will happen. But there is a good chance you will blow a chunk of your paintwork / bodywork off.

Nah just a normal pressure washer. The paintwork on the vx is similar to Cadbury's flake. Basically the French ( ) muppets didn't store the GRP bodywork appropriately and consequently they all absorbed moisture. As a result a lot of cars suffer the dreaded bubbling. Mine wasn't exhibiting the blistering in this location, yet still a 5p size chunk blew off :beat: Seriously though don't use a pressure washer. Any old head on here will say the same thing for the above reasons. There are plenty of means of cleaning the car well enough without pressure washing the car chinky chinky
