Aren't ATS DTCs lightest?
They're very light and very nice but I'm sure there was something about them never being approved for road use. Not passing the TUV or summit...?
In Germany any parts fitted to your car must be TUV approved otherwise your car will not past it's TUV test.
And there are plenty of German Speedsters with ATS DTC's fitted.
They are designed for use in the DTC series which means they are very strong and very light.
They are made in batches for the VX and are the right offset, right centre bore and consequently a perfect fit.
Some of us have tried pretty much all the options to buy these and the current deal at vx performance is as good as it gets.
I must admit I was worried the 215's on the front would be too wide in heavy rain,
but having driven in monsoon conditions on a few occasions I can report the VX was very stable on both the motorway
and A/B roads with rivers running across them!
I'm very happy with my choice and Crabash can tell you how they performed at the ring

I have a set of them but they're virtually the same weight as the standard alloys (apart from the 16" fronts!) I thought they'd be a very noticeable difference using my hand scalesi think the lightest ones are oz superturismo but very hard to get hold off.

but most probably 5x112, so you need wobble bolts and probably some spacer plates for correct fitment on a VX.
(I have them on my car in 8x17 + 7x17)
You need the wobble bolts but the wheels have an offset of 35 (Front and rear) and a spacer plate is not necessary even at the front end.

According to my return of experience with OZ Superleggera, without spacer on the front wheels, you touch the frame during driving, when you turn.
Yes there are light, it would be a good bargain if in 5x110 and with a "correct" ET.

I've two sets of them , one with R888 195/50/16 and one with kumho KU31 in 205/45/16 and i've no issue without spacers . The car is lowered to 115 mm front

The black mark on the frame is the evidence of what I write.
Moreover I have noticed that the ET difference modify my feeling of the car handle.
Personally, I don't regret this OZ Wheels : wobble bolts + ET difference was to much for me
