OK guys, after 10,000 more miles done I'm sure my engine mounts need doing, what's the best option? Zoobeefs car has updated mounts I think but it vibrates quite a lot on tick over, not sure if I want this one to be the same but I don't want to be replacing them again soon. Wheres the best place to get them?

It has normal side mounts that were new when i got it. Uprated inserts on the front and rear though. You could try just putting the inserts in 1 of the front/rear mounts

I get a scratching sound from the rear but more recently I've noticed a knocking noise from higher up on the rear under hard acceleration. So should I replace all with original mounts and put updated inserts in as you did?

Updated inserts in the front? Without changing the mount?

Don't the inserts result in a bit of extra vibration? Maybe try reMoving the inserts and seeing if you get the coffee grinder noise, then you'd know if the side mounts had gone.

Dont get any grinding on Zoobeefs old car, his has uprated inserts, the car in this thread has standard ones with no inserts.
